About Oliver
Hello, My name is Oliver
I have been playing guitar for 4 years, I am absolutely obsessed with music and have a keen passion for teaching. I have played music semi professionally, been in bands across Sydney and I know what it takes to make music a life long passion rather than a throw away lockdown venture.
I am a bright and bubbly person who strives to create an encouraging, relaxed and most of all fun atmosphere for all my students. To be a good teacher you must have patience and passion, and I know that I have these traits to share with students in abundance.

Lessons will be held at the students residence or online depending on personal preference, and times will be arranged at the convenience of the student and tutor.
Lessons are priced based on the duration of the lesson.
30 minutes - $25
45 minutes - $30
1 hour - $40
Lessons will provide students with the knowledge of basic music theory and foundational guitar playing concepts e.g. chords, strumming, scales etc. everything you need to start your music journey.
Lessons will emphasize fun as a means of developing as a musician. Core guitar concepts will be taught based on the musician you want to become. If you want to rock harder than AC/DC then today we will learn about power chords or if you want to write pop songs like the beatles then today we will unpack "here comes the sun".
I believe that passion is vital to learning to play music which is why you will learn the key concepts of guitar and music theory through the songs you love. Unpacking the chords and melodies of a song that you enjoy listening to is invaluable to learning music and becoming a fully formed musician.
