About Eleanor
I am a bright, friendly, determined Oxford University Earth Sciences student with a natural aptitude for teaching and a passion for helping others. I have had experience working with students of all ages through my role as Head of School of Birkenhead School. During my school career, I achieved 11A*s at GCSE and 4A*s at A Level, proving my enthusiasm for learning. In addition, my Oxford University experience has given me an opportunity to learn to 'think outside the box'.
I am available for lessons during holidays from university. I am currently at home on the Wirral till mid October.

It is my aim to use my experience to help others fulfil their goals, using a step by step, logical approach to identify problems and overcome them, achieving the desired results. I believe confidence is key, so it is my objective to provide the support and guidance to give students the self belief to conquer their goals. I am keen to build an understanding of the fundamentals of a subject before moving onto detailed areas. From experience, I have found that areas of weakness can be found through the practice of past paper questions, and so I would initially recommend exposing and filling gaps in a student's knowledge in this way. However, I believe each student is different; I am therefore happy to take a alternative approach if I believe that would be best for an individual.
