About Avery
I am a Senior at Texas Tech University and currently also substitute teach for Lubbock ISD. I have multiple years of experience working with kiddos with special needs and successfully helping them learn to overcome their challenges which I have seen be a very liberating experience for them.

It is my goal to craft a plan that can work with the student's needs one on one to keep them on track in the classroom and help them navigate their schoolwork in these especially tricky Covid times. I like my teaching approach to be positive and encouraging, but with a good amount of structure, as I know many kids with disabilities thrive on routine.
