About Isobel
Hello, my name is Izzy. I am from Leeds, England, where I got A-Levels in Maths, Chemistry and Further Maths (A*,A,B). I study Chemistry at Durham University and I am currently in my final year.
I have always loved teaching and finding ways of teaching to fit the individual student. My goal is to make Maths, a subject that can be quite daunting to some, an enjoyable time.
At the end of each lesson, I send a PDF of the whiteboard through, along with a summary of the lesson (what we went through and how we found it) if the student/parents desire.

I have tutored students from the ages of 5 to 50 in Maths and Chemistry, ranging from before GCSE through to A-Level. I also have experience working in schools.
I believe in 'practice makes perfect' so I am a big fan of writing up some neat, colourful notes to refer back to, followed by practice questions; increasing in difficulty to ensure full understanding. I also like finding ways that work for the individual student, everyone learns differently and I am here to aid in that.
