About Henry
It is a huge passion of mine to ensure that all students have a strong understanding of mathematics. I have seen first hand the effect that unenthusiastic teachers have on already struggling students and it troubles me to think that a student could be discouraged from studying and continuing in maths because of this when I know just how incredible the subject can be. Therefore, it is extremely important to me that you do not feel overwhelmed when we are working together: I have brought students grades up from C's and D's to A's and B's in a matter of weeks so it is truly never too late to start, so long as you are willing to put the effort in. The more you put in, the more you will get out from our lessons.

I am currently a first year Mathematics BSc Student at Durham University. I have achieved both an A* in Maths and Further Maths at A-Level from one of the top schools in the UK. I have been tutoring for almost two years now and have an additional wealth of experience in teaching practices from my years as a qualified tennis coach. Our lessons can include hands-on teaching of new content, more casual revision sessions or a supervised space to complete work in which I can jump in as and when you find yourself stuck. I offer online lessons in GCSE Maths and Further Maths as well as A-Level Maths and Further Maths. I can also offer assistance in university applications in STEM subjects as well as give general STEM-related advice when it comes to the early stages of university.
