About Lucy
I have been working as a group leader at a Summer Camp in America for the past five summers and am therefore primarily responsibly for the health and wellbeing of 25+ campers of a certain age group. Even though I have not tutored directly I believe I am very competent at communicating and encouraging people of all ages, building strong lasting relationships with them. Additionally, I have had work experience at Avon House School where I shadowed teachers for 2 weeks. This experience highlighted to me the importance of being able to adapt teaching methods to tailor to specific individuals in classes, something I believe I have the ability to do whenever necessary. When it comes to academics, I am a very driven and motivated person. However, I am fun, energetic and positive something I think all teachers need to be able to really engage their students.

My teaching methods would require students to be curious and show their initiative - as I believe that in order to get the best results out of people they need to be pushed.
Lessons would be structured with the necessary content - building up to more in depth knowledge throughout the course. Students would be required to do short/long answer essays and do the extra reading given to them outside of the lessons to really improve their understanding of the topics.
