About Carrie
You likely feel that math is an impossible barrier until you see the underlying logic clearly. Since earning perfect scores on my own exams, I have spent 2 years coaching students to overcome those same mental blocks. My expertise covers algebra, statistics, probability, linear algebra, and intensive SAT or ACT math prep.

Many students struggle because they memorize formulas instead of understanding the functional relationships between variables. Math is 90 percent pattern recognition.
I draw on my Duke University training to show you how to simplify complex problems into manageable steps. My 2 years of experience means I remember exactly what it feels like to sit in your chair during a high-stakes exam. We will work through your specific curriculum until you no longer need my help. I am just a student like you, only a few steps further along the path.
