Plus many more… Whether you’re an absolute beginner, learning to play drums for fun, or if you are more experienced and wanting to take your skills to the next level; my online drum lessons are tailored to suit each individual student. My main objective is to give you the tools you need in order to progress on the drums, have fun, build confidence and maximise your learning experience. The topics covered during the lessons can be personalised to suit your aims, but they can include any of the following: • BEATS • DRUM FILLS • MUSIC THEORY • GENRES AND STYLES • MUSIC HISTORY • TECHNIQUES • CONCEPTS • TIMING • PERFORMANCE TIPS • DRUM MAINTENANCE • INDUSTRY ADVICE • GRADES 1 – 8 (TRINITY OR ROCKSCHOOL). BEGINNER ONLINE DRUM LESSONS As daunting as learning this instrument may seem, I guarantee that within your first lesson, you will be familiar with the set-up of the drum kit and be playing your first beat. We will also look at how to hold the drum sticks properly and correct posture. We can then learn how to apply the beat to music and play along to some of your favourite songs! INTERMEDIATE – ADVANCED ONLINE DRUM LESSONS My intermediate to advanced online drum lessons are designed to give you the freedom desired on the kit, and become the drummer you want to be. To get to this stage, we will look at lots of different aspects including: four-way coordination, advanced stick control, applying rudiments to grooves and fills, table of time, linear applications and how to apply all of these aspects within a musical context.
