About Nasser
Dr. Nasser Palangi is an Iranian-Australian artist and lecturer born in 1957. He has traveled extensively throughout Iran and the Middle East, photographing and exploring important social, historical, and cultural events. Palangi has received a special visa as a distinguished talent artist from the Australian Government in 2001. He has authored educational books and videos on visual art teaching and has exhibited his work widely since 2000. Palangi's recent projects include Persia Now in Iran, War's Left Behind, and UAE's Memory Canvas.
He has also been a lecturer at several universities in Iran, Australia, and Oman since 2018.
