I have known Abby for a number of years as a close family friend. On a professional level Abby has travelled from London to Liverpool to give my group of rainbows, brownies and guides aged 5-15 drama lessons. She has also took a very active roll in my daughter Alara’s passion for singing and musical theatre. Unfortunately Alara suffers with severe anxiety which has a massive impact on her confidence, self belief and self esteem. Abby has always encouraged and supported Alara and helped her out on many occasions, I trust Abby implicitly. A few months ago Abby assisted Alara in preparing for her audition for college. She was absolutely amazing not only did she give Alara song choices etc she went above and beyond to ensure her success. Abby put together and videoed a dance routine for Alara to practise at home. She sent her pages and pages of ideas of everything from differing styles, costume choice, expression, confidence, settings, lighting. We were overwhelmed by the amount of time she invested into Alara and this difficult process. Thankfully Alara was given 1 of the 26 places at LMA out of the hundreds who apply and I am so grateful to Abby as part of Alara’s success is due to Abby’s guidance, support and genuine affection. Anyone getting to work with Abby in any capacity is very lucky.

Abby worked with my daughter for 8 years - from year 2 right through to year 10. We started with reading and English tuition but overtime Abby became invaluable to all of her homework and school work. She was able to make sessions engaging and fun, meaning my daughter was keen to work with her and looked forward to their sessions. We fondly remember every session ending with fun games, keeping my young learner engaged.
Abby was flexible, even continuing to work remotely throughout the pandemic, and changing sessions as our schedule required.
We looked at high school applications together and she helped prepare my daughter for her applications, ensuring she was confident and interview-ready.
And now, myself and my daughter still refer to Abby to help with proofreading etc.
