About Sophie
I’m an actor, director and stage manager studying at The Royal Central School if Speech and Drama. I have both studied drama at GCSE and A-level achieving high grades. I have studied acting and performing arts since I was very small. I have professional tv and stage experience whilst working with the likes of the BBC and 20th century fox. Furthermore I run my own theatre company for young people which specialises in improv and satirical theatre.

I base my methods on the likes of Meisner and Brecht who made great changes to theatre of today. Stanislavski forms the foundations for the improv programs, where the actor more or less “becomes” the character and is as close to reality as possible. The majority of my lessons are practice but I feel it is necessary to learn the theory of practicing you are studying.
