About Ayan
Tutoring is not about teaching, but rather connecting with your students. I feel that a tutor can teach the best way possible, but if they fail to hold a connection with the student, the information being taught is no good. I am currently a university student, entering my third year of college, and I often help other students in tutoring centers with classes I have personally taken. Simply by being a student myself, I can connect with others and build a stronger understanding of what is taught.

Mathematics is not about memorization, but rather an understanding. Students often have trouble connecting information to real examples, making it difficult to truly grasp the concept. I establish my lessons where students will leave knowing that they can read a problem and their mind will automatically figure out what needs to be solved, and how to solve it. Rather than focusing on memorizing formulas, I like to make sure that students can actually understand what is going on. Whether it be a student that needs in classes, SAT prep, or any form of mathematics, I am willing to provide a helping hand.
