About Kavya
I have completed my masters in Creative Writing from the University of Nottingham and have authored four books till now namely All Seasons Alike, To Naddiyaa, and two poetry collections Struggle for Intimacy and The Carmine Memories.
I am also the Founder & Editor-in-Chief at Verse of Silence literary magazine. My works have been featured in many online/print platforms including The Sunday Guardian, Deccan Chronicle, Asian News, Kitaab Org., The Bangalore Review, BBC Nottingham, Penguin, etc.
I have been mentoring students on Creative Writing, Poetry Writing and Fiction/Novel Writing for 6 years now, and have
taken sessions with IIT Kanpur, Delhi Technological University, PepperScript Publishing House, and various Delhi University Colleges.
I was awarded the Women Authors of India Recognition award by She Foreword in 2022, Prolific Poet Award by the Crazy Tales, 2021 and Special Mention by Delhi Poetry Slam.

In my online class-
1. I'll take a 1-1.5-hour session twice a week starting from the basics of poetry/story/creative writing, whichever option you choose.
2. I'll also be giving weekly writing prompts and give my reviews on the same for practice and keep doubt sessions if necessary.
3. Each of these individual courses can be covered in 7-8 online sessions within a month i.e. twice a week.
4. If you've already written a book or just need doubt clearance, you can book a 1 session with me for any advise on book publishing, editing, or marketing.
