About Janet
I love students of all ages, but, elementary is definitely my favorite. Each student is unique in their own way and I will try everything I can to help you find the best way to be your "best self." School work doesn't have to be boring, so, we will be having fun together while learning. I have worked with many children in over 20 years and I hope I get to meet and work with you soon.

I have tutored individuals up to groups of 5-6 students with I-step preparation, working on a specific subject, daily homework help and everything in between. I have over 20 years in the classroom with both neurotypical and neurodiverse students. I try to always stay positive with the child and do everything possible to find the teaching method they do the best with. Not all learners learn the same!
I think communication is important between all involved so I will be in contact with the teacher (if desired) and the parents weekly. I always like to know when the student has upcoming tests and projects so we can study (prep) as needed. I am willing to provide a quick "report card" weekly if you would like.
