About Christy
My name is Christy Jefferson. I have taught first grade in a public school for ten years. I graduated from Southeastern State University in Durant Oklahoma. I have personally used Saxon Phonics, Payne Phonics, and Heggerty in my classroom . I have also enjoyed making learning hands on with manipulatives and games.

My passion is to help each child reach his/her full potential. Reading well is the foundation for all learning. Helping your child to read fluently will last a life time. Given the opportunity I would listen to your child read. Based on your child’s individual needs, I will tailor lessons to help strengthen any area your child may be struggling in.
