About Pearl
"Twenty years ago I began teaching mathematics with a focus on clearing up confused logic. My MSc in Pure Mathematics from UC Berkeley informs every concept I demonstrate to students. I spend most of my time supporting high school, IB, and ATAR students through rigorous exam preparation.
Working with hundreds of individuals has shown me that shaky foundations are the primary barrier to progress. I turn those weak spots into methodical problem-solving routines. Clarity is my primary objective."

"Stepping into our first session means confronting the specific areas where your current understanding stalls. We examine the exact mechanics of limits, continuity, and derivatives to identify where your logic slips.
I provide free access to my worked-solution notes to ensure you have a reference for integrals and differential equations. High school and IB students often find that area and volume problems become simple once the underlying theory is clear. My approach relies on 13 years of observing how exam boards expect you to structure an answer. You will apply these strategies to integration by parts and u-substitution until they feel like second nature.
My academic background ensures that we never skip the necessary rigorous derivations. I expect you to bring your most challenging homework to the table. I look forward to building your confidence through consistent practice."
