About Melissa
I am a dedicated educator with extensive teaching and tutoring experience in middle and high school English Language Arts, and college ENG 900, ENG 101 and 102, Research and Persuasion Writing, Fundamentals of Writing, and College Reading courses. I earned my Doctorate in English Composition and Literature Pedagogy; I also hold a Master's degree in Special Education. I have teaching certificates in English Language Arts and Special Education in multiple U.S. states. I earned my CRLA International Tutor Certification while teaching college writing courses and tutoring in the campus writing lab. I have been teaching for over 20 years both in-person and online.
