About Paul
I am a professionally trained and experienced, concert-level pianist; and have been for over 18 years. I graduated with a doctorate (DMA) in music composition. Music is my lifeblood and something incredibly sacred to me. Music not only has the ability to speak the emotions the soul feels when the languages of the world fail, but it also transcends culture, space, and time.

My lessons are tailored to your personal goals and aspirations. You will dictate the rigor (difficulty) and depth of your studies and I will tailor the curriculum to you. Since music can be a very personal experience, I want to make sure you get all you want out of it.
As part of the each lesson I will teach the fundamentals of music theory (in as much depth as the student wants) and various (high-level) aspects of music history as part of the curriculum to help solidify the knowledge I impart and to provide a solid foundation for the students' future endeavors within the realms of both classical and contemporary music.
