About Dr Joey
Medicine can be challenging, and I’ve experienced that. I’m a patient teacher, and I can provide support and understanding for students who'd like assistance.
As an undergraduate, I ranked 1st of 400 students in the Medical Sciences. I then did my Foundation years at Imperial College NHS Trust before embarking on GP training. As a GP trainee, I exceeded the pass mark in the Applied Knowledge Test by 19%. Whilst studying for my GP exams, I also took the MRCP parts 1 and 2a (for specialist trainees in hospital General Medicine) and came in the top 10% on both occasions.
As a fully qualified GP, I work primarily in the private sector. In my clinical work, I have a reputation for exceptional thoroughness and for picking up diagnoses that others have missed.

I am happy to tailor lessons to my students's requirements in terms of content and duration. I can teach undergraduate medicine and postgraduate GP exam preparation.
I have experience teaching people at different stages: I have previously provided informal teaching for junior doctors, mentored school students applying to medicine, coached school students applying for Oxbridge (for various subjects), and have also tutored school students in sciences at Common Entrance and GCSE level.
