About Ryan

Hello! My name is Ryan, and I’m excited to help you unlock your full potential in Biology and Chemistry. As someone who has always had a passion for science, I know how fascinating and rewarding it can be. What drives me to tutor is the opportunity to help students break through their struggles and reach their goals. I believe every student has the ability to understand and excel in Science, and my job is to guide you through the tricky parts, build your confidence, and make the material more engaging. With an undergraduate degree, a research master’s, and a doctorate in Biochemistry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to my tutoring sessions, making me uniquely qualified to help you succeed in the natural sciences.

About the lesson

I will tailor how I teach to the individual as I understand that different people learn in different ways. My preferred modes of teaching are: Interactive and Visual Learning: I use diagrams, videos, and real-life examples to make complex topics easier to understand. Concept Breakdown: I break down challenging concepts into smaller, digestible parts, ensuring a deep understanding of the material. Practice and Application: Focus on applying knowledge through practice problems to reinforce learning. A typical lesson will last 1 hour but other durations can be arranged. Lessons are available for GCSE and A-level students. I am new to tutoring but I have a deep understanding in Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry as I have an Undergraduate degree, Research Masters and Doctorate in Biochemistry. This means that I have hands-on experience helping younger students through their studies at the higher education level.
