About Demi

I’m Demi, a London-based freelance dressmaker with over 20 years of experience in fashion, specialising in pattern cutting, sewing, and bespoke design. For the past 15 years, I’ve also taught in Athens, sharing my passion and expertise with students eager to bring their fashion ideas to life. My career has taken me from collaborating with emerging designers and costume creators to working on projects for renowned artists such as Depeche Mode, Lana Del Rey, and Bryan Ferry — delivering precision alterations to meet the highest standards. Currently, I’m creating bridalwear for Coco Conran, developing patterns for The Dyás, and producing dresses and patterns for Lisa Jiang. I have an eye for detail and a love for helping others discover their own style. Whether you dream of designing your own wardrobe, launching a label, or simply perfecting your sewing skills, I’ll guide you step by step with patience, creativity, and professional insight. She helped me through my sewing projects and gave me great practical advice as she has many years of professional industry experience.
