About Jade
I am a passionate piano tutor with over 15+ years of experience teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I believe that learning piano is about developing both skill and creativity while enjoying the journey.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, clear communication, and personalised lessons tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. I work on building strong fundamentals, including finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading, before gradually introducing advanced concepts. Alongside piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to ensure students gain a complete understanding of music.
Lessons are interactive and engaging, incorporating song practice, creative exercises, and performance opportunities. I specialise in breaking down complex topics into simple steps, helping students stay motivated, build confidence, and maintain consistent practice routines.
My ultimate aim is to create a supportive, inspiring, and positive environment where students can explore music, achieve their goals, and develop a lifelong love for piano.

My teaching approach is designed to inspire musical growth in every student. I maintain clear communication to understand each student’s ambitions and challenges. Creativity is emphasised, encouraging students to explore improvisation, composition, and different musical genres. Flexibility ensures that lessons are tailored to suit each student’s pace and learning preferences.
I also teach important musical skills such as music theory, sight-reading, rhythm practice, and ear training. This comprehensive approach ensures students develop technical abilities, musical understanding, and confidence. My goal is to create an engaging and enjoyable learning environment where students grow both as pianists and as creative individuals.
