About Ting
Hi! I'm Ting, and I've just finished my time at secondary school and will be heading off to university this autumn. I've always enjoyed Maths as a subject and took it as one of my Higher Level IB subjects, achieving a grade 7 (which is A* equivalent in A-Level terms)! Having both experienced and mentored GCSE Maths, I'm familiar and confident with both the mathematical content and exam technique required. Apart from GCSEs, I'm also confident in my ability to mentor Maths for younger years. In recent times, I've involved myself in coaching and mentoring programmes for various subjects (including Maths!) and sports - I hope to use this experience and my years of study in Maths to provide any needed help!

Having worked with and taught students aged 7-14 through mentoring schemes, and having specifically mentored Maths for secondary school students, I am confident in tutoring the subject. My lessons will be online with flexible times, ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour. I am open to both lessons focusing on targeting weak areas, or general lessons aimed at improving overall mathematical skill and exam technique; this will be achieved by working through both worksheets and past papers in either a guided or independent manner.
