About Anne
I graduated in Mathematics and Physics from the National University of Singapore. Since this time I have taught in secondary schools and offered private tutoring to students. I have always been passionate about teaching and as a mother of two children I fully understand the need to ensure students understand the relevance and meaning in their learning. As my children are now older I am now in a position to be more flexible with time to devote to tutoring a course I truly enjoy.

I am an experienced secondary school Mathematics and Physics teacher with 15 years’ experience in both the Singapore and Perth educational systems. Whilst teaching these numeracy-based courses, I appreciate students have a wide range of abilities and varying experiences in Mathematics so I tailor and differentiate my teaching style to meet the individual student. Additionally, I am also a mum to two school-aged children (12 and 14 years) which provides me with a strong foundation from which to ensure the teaching is delivered in a pastoral and patient manner. Furthermore, this together with my classroom experience has taught me a lot over the years about the psychological and emotional needs of middle-years’ students to help them build greater capacity and confidence in their learning of Mathematics.
