About Jeffrey
Teaching exists because I enjoy watching technical precision transform into musical expression. Working with 33 students has taught me to value JAZZ IMPROVISATION and DYNAMICS AND EXPRESSION as pillars of a complete education.
I provide guidance on MEMORIZATION TECHNIQUES and MUSIC THEORY to simplify complex pieces. My approach incorporates RHYTHM AND TIMING alongside POP AND CONTEMPORARY styles for a well-rounded repertoire. Posture and hand position are monitored closely while we integrate EAR TRAINING to sharpen your auditory skills. I look forward to supporting your musical journey with clarity and focus.

Starting with a diagnostic playing assessment helps me understand exactly what you need before we set a learning plan. It is a simple way to identify gaps in your knowledge without wasting any of our time. My 5 years of experience inform the 9.0 segments of our 8.0 minute intensive blocks.
We break down difficult measures into manageable chunks to ensure the process remains logical. It is quite rewarding when a student suddenly masters a complex chord progression after careful practice.
