About Garrett
With 16+ years of experience in teaching and professional work, I have built my career around a genuine passion for helping students learn and grow. I teach Singing to School and College students and enjoy supporting learners as they develop their musical skills and confidence.
I believe that good teaching should be clear, patient, and encouraging. I focus on breathing, pitch, rhythm, voice control, pronunciation, tone, expression, and stage performance. I explain techniques in simple language and provide practical exercises that students can practice regularly.
Every student has a different learning journey. I take time to understand their abilities, interests, challenges, and goals. This helps me create lessons that are suitable for their level and encourage steady progress.
A significant milestone in my teaching career has been helping students prepare for school and college performances. Performing before an audience can be challenging, especially for young learners. Helping them prepare properly and seeing their confidence grow has been one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
I also teach students that Singing is a form of self-expression. I encourage them to develop their own style while learning proper technique. I want learners to understand how to communicate emotions through their voices.
I create a learning environment where students can ask questions and make mistakes without feeling embarrassed. I believe mistakes are important because they help learners understand where they need more practice.
Singing can also develop discipline, concentration, communication, creativity, confidence, memory, and emotional expression.
After 16+ years of experience, I remain passionate about education. My goal is to help every School and College student enjoy music, strengthen their singing abilities, and develop the confidence to share their voice with others.

My approach to teaching Singing is centered on Motivation, Communication, Creativity, and Time Management. I believe students should learn vocal technique in a way that also encourages confidence, creativity, and enjoyment. I first understand each student's experience, musical interests, current abilities, and goals so I can create lessons that are suitable for them.
I use Motivation to encourage regular effort and confidence. I help students set achievable goals and recognize improvements. I provide supportive feedback and guide students patiently through challenging areas such as pitch, breathing, rhythm, tone, and vocal control. This helps learners stay positive and committed.
Communication allows me to make lessons clear and personal. I encourage students to ask questions, share their ideas, and discuss their challenges. I explain vocal warm-ups, breathing, pitch, rhythm, pronunciation, tone, dynamics, and expression in simple language. I also listen carefully to students and adjust activities when needed.
Creativity is included through songs, vocal exercises, improvisation, listening practice, rhythm activities, and performance preparation. I encourage students to explore different musical styles and develop their own way of expressing emotions. I can also support related subjects such as music theory, ear training, rhythm, basic musicianship, and performance skills.
Time Management helps students develop a consistent practice routine. I guide them in dividing their practice into short and focused sections and setting realistic weekly goals. This makes practice easier to manage and helps students stay organized. My aim is to develop confident, expressive, creative, disciplined, and independent singers who enjoy learning and continue improving.
