About Cio
With 11 years of professional piano teaching experience and nearly 300 students taught, I am dedicated to delivering lessons that are structured, inspiring, and tailored to each student’s goals. I work with high school learners, college students, and adults, guiding them to improve their skills while fostering a passion for music.
My teaching philosophy focuses on building strong technical foundations and encouraging personal expression. I emphasise scales, arpeggios, finger exercises, rhythm accuracy, and sight-reading. I also integrate music theory into lessons to help students understand the structure and emotion behind the pieces they play.
Lessons are personalised according to each student’s level and objectives. I provide regular feedback and set achievable goals to encourage steady progress. Many of my students have performed successfully in recitals and school events, while others have earned distinctions in graded examinations.
I aim to create a positive and motivating learning environment where students develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of piano.

My piano teaching methodology is built on communication, creativity, flexibility, and steady confidence building. I believe that every student has unique musical potential, and my role is to guide them with clarity and patience.
I begin by focusing on strong fundamentals such as posture, hand relaxation, finger independence, rhythm accuracy, and clear note reading. I explain each concept in simple English so students fully understand what they are learning.
Communication is very important in my lessons. I listen carefully to students’ goals and challenges and provide supportive, constructive feedback.
Creativity helps students enjoy the learning process. I include improvisation, expressive phrasing exercises, and small creative tasks to build imagination. Flexibility allows me to adjust lesson plans according to the student’s level, speed, and purpose.
I also teach music theory, harmony, ear training, and sight reading to support complete musical development. My goal is to develop confident and expressive pianists who love music.
