About Emily
I'm an illustrator with a lifelong love of helping people feel more confident with computers. It started when I was 9, helping my mum create worksheets for her primary school class using Microsoft Word — she found it stressful, but I loved it. Since then, I’ve gone on to teach digital skills at university level and work as a professional illustrator across campaigns, packaging, research, and large-scale murals. I design all my mural artwork digitally on my iPad before painting it by hand. Outside of my creative work, I use digital tools to write blog posts, manage my finances, and even keep track of my shopping list. I know how empowering these tools can be — once you’re shown how to make them work for you, not against you.

Hi, I’m Emily – a professional illustrator, muralist and designer with years of experience helping people gently build confidence with digital tools. I’ve taught university students who were nervous about using tech, and I love showing how digital and traditional skills can work beautifully together. If you’re a complete beginner with a computer, phone or iPad – or just feel unsure – I’ll guide you in a calm, clear, and pressure-free way. No confusing jargon, no fear of pressing the wrong button, and absolutely no judgement. I offer one-to-one sessions that are tailored to your pace and interests. Each lesson is 55 minutes, and the first session is free – we’ll use it to get to know each other and find the best plan for you. We’ll work on a small project together so you can build your skills step by step – and feel proud of what you’ve made after every session. I work with all ages and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
