About Marina
I am a 4th year dental student in Sheffield. During GCSE and A level my passion was science especially chemistry and physics. I have a lot of experience with maths and science. In GCSE I received a grade 9 for maths and a 9-9 for dual science. In A-levels I received AAA in biology, chemistry and physics. I had a gap year which helped me mature and prepare for dental school. I volunteered throughout my gap year with opportunities to interact with children and teenagers. During my study in dental school, I have managed to interact with teenagers and young children who were anxious going to the dentist, and I helped make them feel more at ease and confident coming to the dentist. I would like to extend this past a dental clinic and ensure students feel more confident and less anxious about their studies and exams.

I can adapt to each students style of learning and give weekly/bi-weekly quizzes to make sure they are understanding what they are learning as well as seeing if there is anything I can do better for them as we go along. A lesson is usually 1 hour but I can provide 1.5 hours/2 hour lessons. I have 1 year experience tutoring younger ages who enjoyed the techniques I used to teach them. I can provide lessons for years 7, year 8 and GCSE for maths, biology, chemistry and physics.
