First of all, I want to share my experience and how I went through literary theory,criticism and authors. I’m interested in understanding what is main role of literature and how do we engage with it in day-to-day life… how culture around us shapes our understanding of things and how can we over come such dimensions… Literature is grounded in History and a dialectical and materialistic understanding of history is very important for every literature enthusiast.

Teaching literature chronologically helps in understanding it’s basic premise and also foundations of literary criticism.
