About Claire

Hi! I'm Claire :)

For the past 3 years, I've worked as a robotics summer camp counselor, so I'm confident in my ability to keep students active and interested. This year, I'll be going into my final year of Highschool at Appleby College in September.

When I first moved to Canada at 5, I learned English and French simultaneously. It was in that first grade classroom that my passion for language-learning was born. Now, in my own time, I practice Mandarin, Spanish and Japanese as well. I hope to ignite that same joy in other students.

I've received DELF B1 (2023) and B2 (2024) certificates, as well as a 5 on AP French Language and Culture, and have spent time in both Montreal and Paris to put them to practice.

Let's learn together!

About the lesson

A typical lesson looks like:
- starting with an ice-breaker/brain-teaser
- briefly reviewing previous lesson and any homework
- working on either listening+speaking or reading+writing
- assistance with school homework if provided
- recap of skills practiced during lesson

I can also help with studying for DELF B1 & B2, and AP French Language and Culture.
