Your resume is the most important financial document you own. Make sure you get optimized benefits from it. I will walk you through the fundamentals of resume preparation to include a Summary of Qualifications, Keywords targeted for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), and impactful action-oriented language in your job history and accomplishments. I'll tell you what to avoid and how to format to be most compatible with broadly used ATSs. I'll tell you how to best utilize your "resume real estate" and create a document employers WANT to read. I'll also give you templates and resources for cover letter writing to present a complete package and get results fast. I'll also cover building and optimizing your online professional presence including LinkedIn and Indeed profile to create a smooth, user friendly job search. I've worked in resumes and career marketing for over 25 years. It's the only business I've ever been in. My mother was a U.S. Top 10 Certified Professional Resume Writer and I started out working for her. I then owned the #1 Resume and Recruiting firm in San Antonio for 7 years.
