About Mursyida

Hi, I’m an experienced Mathematics and Additional Mathematics tutor, passionate about helping students succeed through simple, effective teaching methods. I work with primary and secondary students, including those preparing for major exams like SPM, and my goal is always the same which is to help students understand, not memorize. Why I Teach? I started teaching because I’ve seen how many students struggle with Math, not because they aren’t smart, but because the subject is often taught in a confusing or rigid way. I want to change that. My passion comes from seeing the moment when a student finally gets it when their confidence grows and they realize Math isn't as scary as it seemed. That’s what drives me. I believe every student has the potential to do well with the right guidance and support.

About the lesson

I believe that every student can understand Mathematics and Additional Mathematics when it’s taught in a simple, clear, and structured way. My approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand steps, using real-life examples and straightforward explanations. I avoid overcomplicating topics and instead focus on building a strong foundation so students can solve problems confidently and independently. Teaching Techniques & Methodology: - Step-by-step explanations to ensure full understanding before moving on. - Tailored lessons based on the student's current level and learning style. - Lots of practice and guided exercises to reinforce concepts. - Use of visual aids, simple analogies, and exam-focused strategies. - Regular progress checks and feedback to identify areas of improvement. Lesson Duration: - A typical class lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. - Flexible scheduling is available for exam preparation or extra help before tests. Qualifications & Experience: - I have 1 year of experience tutoring both primary and secondary students in Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. - I’ve worked with students from various backgrounds and learning abilities, including those sitting for UPSR, PT3, and SPM. - My students have consistently shown improvement in grades and confidence in handling math problems.
