As an author with a published piece in the Spirals anthology series, I bring a creative and structured approach to tutoring writing and editing for high school-aged beginner writers. My lessons typically run for 45 minutes to an hour and focus on building core writing skills such as idea development, grammar, structure, voice, and editing techniques. I use a blend of brainstorming exercises, peer review, guided writing prompts, and one-on-one feedback to help students refine their work and grow in confidence. My teaching methodology encourages creativity while reinforcing the fundamentals of clear, effective communication. Lessons are tailored to suit each student’s pace and learning style, creating a supportive space where young writers can explore their ideas and improve through practice and constructive feedback.
