About Thy
I am a dedicated and results-driven tutor who takes pride in delivering structured, high-quality lessons tailored to each student. With a strong academic foundation in Mathematics and ongoing studies in Education, I combine subject expertise with proven teaching strategies to ensure students not only understand concepts, but can apply them confidently.
My approach is professional, organized, and student-focused. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, while still maintaining clear expectations and academic standards. Each lesson is carefully planned, and I provide tailored resources aligned with the NSW curriculum to maximize progress.
I have experience working with students across a range of levels, from upper primary to senior high school, including preparation for Selective School Placement and HSC assessments. My approach to tutoring is centered around clarity, confidence, and consistency. I break down complex concepts into simple, structured steps so students don’t just memorize — they actually understand. I also adapt my teaching style to each student, ensuring lessons feel supportive but still push them to think critically.
Lessons typically run for 90 minutes, allowing enough time to teach new concepts, practice and consolidate understanding without overwhelming the student.
I am a Mathematics/English tutor and education student with experience working across all secondary levels, including preparation for Selective School exams and Stage 6 (HSC) content. I also create tailored resources to match the NSW curriculum and exam standards.
My lessons are designed for students from upper primary through to senior high school, particularly those looking to strengthen their foundations, improve confidence or achieve high academic results.
