About Soyal

Hello, my name is Soyal, and I am a dedicated Math tutor committed to helping students succeed. With a B.Tech in Computer Science, professional experience as a Software Engineer, and ongoing studies in an MSc in Computing (Applied Cyber Security), I bring both strong academic knowledge and real-world problem-solving skills to my lessons. My teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive. I simplify challenging topics, use practical examples, and encourage active participation so that students not only understand concepts but also gain the confidence to apply them independently. Lessons typically run for 60–90 minutes and are tailored to each student’s needs, whether that means preparing for exams, strengthening weak areas, or developing overall confidence in Math. I have experience teaching secondary school learners and adult students, and I take pride in creating a positive, professional environment where every student feels encouraged and capable of achieving their goals.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-focused and practical. I believe every learner has a unique style, so I adapt my teaching to match their needs. I break down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and use real-life examples to make Maths both understandable and engaging. I also encourage active participation through practice problems and discussions, helping students gain confidence and independence in their learning.

A typical lesson lasts 60–90 minutes, with a balance of explanation, guided practice, and review to ensure concepts are fully understood before moving forward.

I hold a B.Tech in Computer Science, have worked as a Software Engineer, and am currently pursuing an MSc in Computing (Applied Cyber Security). Along with my academic background, I have hands-on teaching experience, which allows me to combine both theoretical knowledge and practical applications in my lessons.

My classes are ideal for secondary school students (Junior and Senior Cycle) and adult learners who want to strengthen their Maths skills, prepare for exams, or build confidence in problem-solving.

I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated, encouraged, and capable of achieving their best.
