About Raisah

Hi, I’m Raisah! An A-level maths student here who achieved A*s in all Mathematics and Numeracy GCSE exams, as well as a Distinction in Additional Mathematics. I am extremely passionate about the subject, receiving my secondary school’s Julie Cochlin Award for most progress made in maths. I’m here to be a teacher and a friend, prepared to deliver effective and impactful teaching so that the learning feels natural. I previously worked at my secondary school with students in younger year groups to help them achieve the CREST award in science by exploring innovative and creative ideas with them, so am well versed in communicating with different levels of learners.

About the lesson

Struggling or need that extra boost with maths? An enthusiastic and engaging tutor here, ready to give you or your child lessons to progress in maths! As someone who has struggled with Maths before, and has gotten familiar with the techniques, I’m confident in delivering lessons which are effective and tailored just for you. I ensure students grasp the core principles, making complex topics easier to understand. Sometimes, it’s just the case of how a concept is explained! No matter what level you’re currently at with the subject, I’m here to support you throughout your endeavours - making sure we can have fun while we push through to achieve our academic goals together. I’m offering flexible lessons online and in person, with about 1-2 hours per lesson depending on what you’re looking for. If you have any questions, I’m more than happy to answer!
