About Flora
I am currently studying Spanish, French and Maths A-level. My favourite teachers were those who inspired the confidence in me to aim high. I am keen to share my experience with the subject and what has particularly helped me achieve top grades from Year 7 when I started Spanish, to Year 13. I enjoy putting together fun and interesting lessons for all ages, so the session is something to look forward to, and most importantly something that inspires your love of learning. I have found that developing my personal interest in the subject, rather than seeing it as an academic chore, has been the most rewarding in catalysing my learning.

Typical lesson length: 35-50 minutes
Designed for: Ages 4-16, all levels up to GCSE
Experience: tutoring children with difficulty reading aged 8-9, running primary school clubs, regularly babysitting for a 3-year-old
Tutoring sessions will be designed to cater to the student’s specific needs and areas for improvement. We will look at all areas of the curriculum they study including listening, reading, translation, writing, speaking, through many different approaches such as podcasts, educational videos, and reading activities. At the beginning of each session we will have a discussion or quiz of what we learnt last week as an active recall exercise to build their knowledge of vocab and grammar.
