About Makiysha
Hi! I’m Makiysha, and I’m 14 years old. I’m really excited about the opportunity to become a tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand things and feel more confident in school. I’m currently in ninth grade and my strongest subjects are Math, Science, English. I’ve helped classmates and friends study, and I’ve found that I really enjoy explaining things in simple, creative ways that make sense to them. I’m a patient person, and I always try to be encouraging—no question is ever too small or silly. I want to make learning feel a little less stressful and a lot more fun. Outside of school, I’m into writing, drawing, dancing, and I think being able to relate to people is a big part of being a good tutor. Thanks so much for considering me! I’d love the chance to support other students and help them feel proud of what they can do.
