About Ky
I am a college sophomore looking to earn my PsyD in developmental psychology. I’ve always enjoyed working with kids as well as teaching. I teach two separate groups of children once a week on my college campus for fun and to learn more about teaching.
I am passionate about many topics, and I’ve dabbled in many different extracurriculars. In my free time, I am a storytelling content creator, using Minecraft videos as my vessel to communicate these stories I’ve written. I believe that a balance between your passions and hobbies is very important.
I was always a diligent student, and my work was very thorough. My seemingly easy time in school led doctors to believe that I was not neurodivergent, and I didn’t receive a diagnosis until I was in my second year of high school.
Since then, I have dedicated much of my time to learning how to help neurodivergent kids receive the specialized care they need.

My goal is to provide the student with the aid they need, but to allow them some freedom. They decide the pace, and we compromise to make them comfortable and to get the maximum amount of work done.
I normally work with kids in elementary school-middle school, so most of our tutoring sessions revolve around homework. But I am happy to explain a difficult subject to the student, and make an effort to reteach anything they might have missed in class.
I specialize in kids with ADHD, and I know how to prioritize their comfort and success. 5 minute brain breaks are a necessary component to every hard work session to refresh the student’s mind.
