About Zoe
I have been tutoring for three years with students K-9 in a variety of subjects! I attend Scripps College where I study writing & rhetoric as my major and English as my minor. I am on Dean's List and graduated Summa Cum Laude from my high school in Arizona. In high school, I was a state finalist and award-winning Platform Speaker in speech and debate where I wrote, edited, and delivered informative speeches. I was the Platform Speaking captain my senior year which granted me the opportunity to help my teammates with their writing, editing and speaking skills. I love working with kids, and seeing their growth is so rewarding to me!

Individualized learning is vital to a successful tutoring experience, and I am dedicated to meeting students where they are and helping them grow. Because English tutoring can vary widely between different disciplines, I do not have a set lesson plan. However, once I know the student's goals and skill level, I am able to individually plan lessons tailored to each student's needs. I prioritize fostering a warm, accepting, and zero-judgement space where students can achieve up to their highest potential.
