About Mariella

I am a Theatre Graduate who has a passion for English and English Literature. I have a background in teaching Greek mythology and drama, Shakespeare, early modern drama, culture and history. Along with other classics including Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. I will be pursuing a Masters in Early Modern Studies later this year at UCL.

About the lesson

As a graduate, with a first class honours degree in Drama and Theatre, I have spent the last year teaching storytelling workshops online and in person. I have now developed a wide knowledge of mythologies and folklore from all over the world, classic stories, teaching classes in Jane Austen, LM Montgomery and Charles Dickens.

I have also built upon my knowledge of Shakespeare, teaching classes in many of his most famous plays including Macbeth, Othello, As You Like it and Henry V. I undertook modules in early modern drama and Shakespeare during my undergraduate degree and will also be pursuing a masters in Early Modern Studies at UCL later this year.

I am keen to tutor and inspire students in any of these areas, to enrich their experiences and knowledge of stories through a creative and academic approach to lessons.
