I've found that the best way to learn something is often through teaching. I've also been a student who needed some extra help (who hasn't) before, so my approach is all about moving you forward as a student and learner by helping you develop the tools and skillset you need for academic success.

I have a patient and thoughtful approach to teaching. I understand that some students have anxiety about reading and writing, which can sometimes make learning even harder.
I like to start in a way that feels as relaxed and easygoing as possible with grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension- questions and exercises (when appropriate). Once the student and I have a solid foundation, we can progress to writing and heavier-duty assignments and address any areas of concern that may arise within that context as we go.
