About Richard
Hello, my name is Richard! I recently graduated from the University of California, San Diego B.S. in Data Science and Mathematics. Now, I work as a Data Scientist at BNY Mellon.
Looking back, I credit much of my success to all of the great teachers and mentors I have had. That is why I am passionate about tutoring; I want to be that positive influence for students that were just like me when I was younger.

I'm not giving you any answers. My job is to teach you the fundamentals and way of thinking that will allow you to arrive at the answer on your own. This is the method I found to be most successful. Using this method, all of my students were able to consistently achieve better test scores. I want you to make mistakes and learn from them; that is the best way to learn new material.
My promise to you is quality. All I ask is that before each lesson send me the test and/or assignments that you would like to review and I will take time out of my day to go over them before our lesson.
These lessons are for middle school to high school students who would like help in any math or computer science related subjects.
