About Prasanta
I am a data scientist who works in the area of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Math (and statistics) are the core of these fields, and many others. From my high school days, I've been passionate about math, and teaching math to others. I believe I have something of value to offer to you in my unique way of teaching, with my focus on applications of the concepts learnt rather than rote learning, so you can understand why, when and where these concepts can be useful in the real world.

When teaching a new concept, I always start with a motivating real world example or scenario in an interactive manner that leads to the concept at hand. When I design practice problems, I do so in a way that ensures application of the knowledge learnt, which in turn ensures a concrete understanding of the subject matter. I always say, there's three levels of knowledge - knowing something, understanding it and realising it. I intend to help you surf through them all.
