I'm a Data Science and Programming graduate, and I'm very passionate about teaching. To be honest, it's easy to become a teacher, but to be a great teacher is tough. And the challenge of aiming for this perfection is what makes it so fascinating to me. I believe in "Learning by doing". Nothing is more apt for programming-related subjects, and so is true of Web development. I tell the theory, show a little demo, and then I let the student do it themselves. Though learning by doing is great, doing it while keeping a shaky foundation is the ultimate root to many problems. In web development, one can do good by just doing the necessary stuff, but to be 'great' at it needs you to know the theory and little history behind the decisions we make, and I add that bit every here and there to make the class engaging.
