About Lauren
I’m someone who has always loved and been a very strong student in math, and I can’t wait to help you conquer the subject too. Of course, there have also been a few times that math hasn’t come as easily to me - whether that was due to a specific teacher, teaching method, or just the topic itself - but I’ve always pushed myself to keep trying, doing whatever I could to learn and master the material. I even ended up taking more math classes than required in college just because I enjoyed it so much. I went to Dartmouth undergrad where I majored in Economics, and I earned my master’s degree in Business Analytics from Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame. I also attended High Technology High School in New Jersey, which for many years has been ranked the #1 STEM high school in the country.

I start by understanding where the student is at, and their current comprehension level of the subject, and what their goals are. Then, I tailor my approach to their needs. I do interactive activities, try to make it fun, and continually iterate on the way we are learning. I can teach middle and high school students in algebra I, II, precalculus, or calculus AB.
