About Danielle
Having previously tutored students across a range of levels and curricula, I have tailored my teaching methods to adapt to the different learning styles of my students. During my tutoring period, several parents informed me that the students not only showed significant improvement in their understanding towards the subject, but also how they found the subject more enjoyable and are more willing to practise it at home. This experience has been extremely rewarding for me as my goal as a tutor is to make sure that my students really grasp concepts that they find difficult and see this tutoring time as a platform where they can really ask as many questions as they need to. I am someone who enjoys when students ask many questions as it shows their interest to grow and excel, and I will always try to answer them to the best of my ability.

I conduct weekly online sessions, ranging from 1-1.5 hours, supporting students with homework, reinforcing key concepts, and preparing them for upcoming assessments. To ensure productive sessions, I will prepare tailored lesson materials and revision notes in advance, and incorporate practice exercises and challenge questions to assess their understanding. At the start of each lesson, I carry out a brief review of the previous week's content and address any areas the student wishes to revise. I have previously tutored 7 students across the IB PYP, IB MYP, IGCSE and AP curricula in Mathematics and English. I completed my IGCSEs and IB Diploma in Singapore, obtaining A*s for Extended Mathematics (96th percentile), Chemistry (94th percentile), Physics (93rd percentile) and Biology (93rd percentile), and High 6s for Higher Level Mathematics and Chemistry. My lessons are best tailored for students at primary/elementary and lower secondary/middle school levels.
