With a decade of experience, I utilize a Scaffolded Inquiry method that transitions students from guided support to independent mastery. In ELA, I teach students to "read like writers," while in Test Prep, I focus on Pattern Recognition to help them bypass common exam traps.
A typical 60-minute session begins with an Error Analysis of previous work, followed by Targeted Strategy on a new concept. We then move into Guided Application with real-time feedback, ending with a Student-Led Synthesis to ensure retention.
What sets me apart is my focus on Metacognitive Coaching. I don't just teach content; I teach students how to manage test anxiety and executive functioning. I support learners from Middle School through Post-Graduate levels, specializing in AP English, SAT/ACT/GRE prep, and college admissions essays.
