About Dan
I want to become a tutor so I can share the GCSE knowledge I’ve gained and help other students feel more confident in their learning. Having recently studied these subjects myself, I understand the challenges students face and can explain concepts in a clear and relatable way. Tutoring also allows me to develop important skills such as communication, patience, and leadership, which will support both my education and future career. Additionally, I am currently completing my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, and tutoring gives me a meaningful way to contribute to my community while making a positive impact on younger learners.

I am experienced with GCSE Maths and Physics. I have completed lesson plans that I used to teach Year 10 and 11 pupils last year in school. Average length of a lesson varies but is usually an hour long. I like going over everything and explaining it clearly before testing with example questions.
